Giuseppe Aurelio, Kevin Carlos, and Daniel Maldini will soon be new Cagliari players. Sporting director Pietro Accardi has completed three signings in the last few hours, respectively from Spezia, Nice (tonight's Rossoblu opponents at Unipol Domus in the second edition of the Gigi Riva Trophy), and Atalanta.

This morning, the first player to show up for a medical at the Villa Stuart clinic in Rome was Kevin Carlos , a Spanish striker born in 2001, who was loaned out with an option to buy. Aurelio also arrived next, arriving from Spezia, led by former Cagliari sporting director Guido Angelozzi. He's a left-back, a position that needs to be filled given that Riyad Idrissi, who turned 26 in March and will be out injured until November, will be joining Spezia. Goalkeeper Giuseppe Ciocci will join the club.

Maldini is also expected to undergo a medical in the coming hours . He's joining Cagliari on loan for €1 million, with an option to buy for a further €8 million (which would become mandatory if certain objectives are met). Born in 2001, Maldini was on loan at Lazio last season, starting in January.
