Cagliari, Tommy Emmanuel for an evening of pure guitar playing
The sacred monster of fingerstyle amazed the audience of over 1000 spectators at the FairA guitar, a chair, and a basic stage: that's all it took for Tommy Emmanuel to transform Pavilion D of the Cagliari Fair into a temple of acoustic music.
The concert, part of the 2026 Italian tour of the 2024 Grammy Award and promoted by the "Form and Poetry in Jazz" Association directed by Nicola Spiga, also featuring a stop at the Teatro Verdi in Sassari, attracted a large audience, ready to attend a true masterclass in style, technique, and musical communication.
The evening was opened by Alberto Lombardi, a Roman guitarist among the most appreciated on the national fingerstyle scene.
His performance, intense and attentive to sound details, set the stage with elegance and personality.
