The Elephant Tower of Cagliari will reopen to the public from Saturday 20 January.
Access to the Cagliari monument had been banned following the intervention of the Civil Protection to secure the adjacent Church of San Giuseppe from which rubble had fallen off.
Now, once security conditions have been restored, the 14th century monument - the second tallest medieval tower in the city, after the tower of San Pancrazio - will again be open to visitors every day continuously from 10am to 5pm.
