Excluded due to irregularities in the signatures collected (283 against the 350 that would have been necessary) and for having presented a lower number of candidates than required by law (22, with a name written twice, instead of 23), the Movimento civico Cagliari list in support for mayoral candidate Alessandra Zedda (centre-right) announces appeal to the TAR . «Given the total regularity of those who examined our list, there were errors in the certification operations which in our opinion cannot be attributed to our behavior. And for this we will appeal to the TAR", says Simone Paini, representative and leader of the Civic Movement.
Time is tight: the administrative tribunal should give its ruling within the week. But, in case the appeal is not accepted, the civic will go to the Council of State. The framework should be defined within about ten days.
«We are confident», adds mayoral candidate Zedda, «that it can be demonstrated that the lists were complete. I am convinced that, whatever happens, the list, made up of young people, traders and entrepreneurs, will be able to make its contribution."
