An evening of great suggestions , strong impact sounds underlined by a riot of percussion . And then applause and ovations, in a theater that was finally packed.

The orchestra and the choir of the Lirico, the children's choir of the Conservatory and the three soloists, played the Carmina Burana last night in Cagliari. The profane scenic cantata, Carl Orff 's masterpiece, with all its intensity, enthralling energy and narrative force, conquered the audience and the first lodge.

The monumental Carmina Burana, with the famous invocation to fortune sung by the choir and which opens and closes the concert, have been re-proposed less than a year after the last performance at the Parco della Musica , this time inside the theater.

And the audience responded with participation and interminable clapping, already from the conclusion of the first, well-known song, chosen as the soundtrack, among many, of Excalibur .

Good performance by the singers Ilaria Vanacore , Christian Collìa , Leon Kim. Alessio Allegrini , on the podium, tried to transfer his great musical qualities in the reading of the score of the medieval poetic compositions set to music by the German composer.

The choir, prepared by the expert Giovanni Andreoli , shows in all its sections, basses, baritones, tenors, sopranos and mezzosopranos, the maturity linked to the great experience in the performance of Carmina Burana.

Superb performance by the children's choir conducted for the first time by Francesco Marceddu .
