Cagliari's streak ends in Parma, defeated by the Gialloblù 2-1. After Lapadula's lead in the first half, the turnaround came in the second half with a disputed penalty from Vazquez and a goal from Man.

Ranieri chooses Deiola in midfield in place of Lella and, in attack, focuses on Prelec with Falco and Lapadula.

Parma starts strong, Cagliari controls without too many worries. In the 19th minute, however, on Estevez's insertion Radunovic was good at closing the door. Three minutes later, the Gialloblù's Argentine tries again from distance, but the ball goes just wide.

Then the rossoblùs come out and , in the 32nd minute, pass. Played entirely vertically, from Obert to Prelec for Lapadula, who burns Cobbaut, bypasses Buffon and scores.

Parma shuts down and leaves the field to Ranieri's team, who in the 37' comes close to an encore with Azzi, whose starting point ends with a close-range left foot. In the 41st minute, Falco-Nandez-Falco and the ex-Stella Rossa's shot was blocked by Cobbaut. The last attempt is from Parma, with the usual Estevez, but Radunovic is there.

In the second half, it starts again with Camara in place of Juric and the new entry immediately seeks the conclusion, just outside. Cagliari controls and even nearly doubles with Prelec, anticipated by Delprato, and Falco, left wide. Then the decisive episode in the 14th minute: the Var signals a possible touch with Azzi's arm and, after a long check, the referee Gariglio points to the spot, with Vazquez making it 1-1.

The rossoblùs react, with a shot from Falco. But in the 32nd minute Man runs away to Azzi on the right, concentrates and unloads at the crossroads. Ranieri, who had already included Lella and Luvumbo for Deiola and Prelec, threw Pavoletti and Barreca into the fray for Falco and Azzi, then Millico too. But Buffon didn't risk anything and indeed, in the 44th minute, the referee awarded a new penalty to Parma, thanks to Lella's intervention on Mihaila. But Mihaila himself gets hypnotized by Radunovic. There are 8' of added time, but the score doesn't change anymore.
