Francesco Fourneau of the Roma 1 section will referee the Domus match between Cagliari and Salernitana, valid for the 28th day of the championship and scheduled for Saturday 9 March at 3pm .
The Roman referee, 39 years old, has only refereed twice in Serie A this year. In his career he has refereed two Cagliari matches: the 2-2 against Spezia in August 2021 , the first day of the Serie A championship with a rossoblù comeback by Joao Pedro; and the home defeat (0-1) against Bari last season in Serie B.
A very important challenge, which in case of victory could push Cagliari out of the relegation zone. Mister Ranieri and the players know it, the club also knows it and calls on the public on social media: «Let's fill the stadium. Let's defend it together."
As for the big matches of the day: Bologna-Inter entrusted to Luca Pairetto, Marco Guida will manage Juventus-Atalanta, Fiorentina-Roma goes to Davide Massa.
