The Primavera are starting to look ahead to next season. This afternoon, the League took the very first step towards designing the Under-20 championship, announcing the 2026/27 schedule. And Cagliari is taking notes. The first match will be at home to one of the newly promoted teams: the opening match, scheduled for August 22nd, will be against Albinoleffe. A week later, Alberto Gallego's team will face Bologna in their first home game.
The league, which, like Serie A, features an asymmetrical schedule with two-legged matches, currently has three midweek rounds scheduled: the first in the week before Christmas, the second on Epiphany, and the final scheduled for early March. The regular season concludes on May 22nd, and for the young Rossoblu, it will be a Cagliari-Milan match, with the hope that this time the prospects will be different.
