All dreams can come true and that's what the Cagliari Primavera did this afternoon. In front of a crowd of 521 at the CRAI Sport Center in Assemini , the young rossoblù beat Juventus 2-0 in the Coppa Italia semi-final , earning their place in the final against Milan .

Vinciguerra and Bolzan 's goals were enough to give immense joy to the entire island club and its fans who are now anxiously awaiting April 9 to find out who between Cagliari and Milan will win the title. At the end of the match, an emotional Fabio Pisacane expressed his satisfaction for the achievement: «Before talking about today, I wanted to thank all the guys who participated in the championship last year because if we entered this Cup from the eighth finals it is also thanks to them. I'm not going to name all the names here, but each of them gave a huge contribution and this also gives value to the result that the team achieved last year. After the first few minutes of the match, Cagliari suffered a bit from Juventus ' attacking attempts, playing a first half that was perhaps not at its best. But in the second half the music changed completely, the determination and character came out, enough to lead the islanders to victory. "I liked that the team enjoyed the opportunity as I had asked them to. They are not used to playing with this turnout, they felt this match a lot. There was a great demonstration of esteem and interest towards the boys and my job was to lighten their minds. I told everyone to enjoy the journey because the finish line is more beautiful. But how was the preparation for this important match against a high-level opponent approached? "We had prepared well and in the second half our qualities came out. We know the value of Juve . They have played three competitions this year, they made a good impression in the Youth League and we knew, also due to what happened in the first leg, that we could hurt them. We fixed some things between the first and second half and this allowed us to slow down Juventus who had gone to rest with a different idea and plan for the match. I congratulate the boys and the staff, because there was an important reading of the match during the game".

First the victory against league leaders Roma , now the one against Juventus in the Coppa Italia . An almost perfect week for Cagliari Primavera , which however will only end on Sunday, when the young islanders will fly to Lombardy to face Inter in the league. And this is what Pisacane recalled: «The week ends with Inter and we will work to get an important result in Milan, so as to truly define the week as perfect. Since we lost Soldati I imagined giving more compactness to the back line and we succeeded in doing so. It was an exceptional match that outlines a special period, but we need to have balance in enthusiasm because the journey is still long. We have to think game by game. Tonight we celebrate, then from tomorrow we put Inter in our sights, to close these seven days in the best possible way».

During this season, the Cagliari coach has emphasized how it is not easy to manage a group of boys. Each player has a certain type of character and personality and managing to get the best out of each of them can be a real feat. But as a good coach, Pisacane has worked at his best with each element of the team, achieving unique results: "Getting into the heads of the boys is not easy. Keeping out players who were protagonists four days ago, says a lot about the strength of this group also following the progress of the two close matches. The greatest satisfaction is precisely this, that is, having a group, a united block, that carries forward its ideas regardless of who plays".

I repeat, the last page of the book is still missing because this club must be where it deserves to be. In my own small way, I try every day to instill in the boys what was transferred to me upon my arrival. It is not easy because this is a shirt that requires sacrifice, participation and significant effort. Even today we saw that with due proportion, the people came to support us to push us and blow on our backs. As the boys often say: they will only realize when they leave which shirt they have worn. I hope everyone stays here for life, but this will probably not be possible».
