The victory against the reigning Italian champions Sassuolo brings great enthusiasm to the Cagliari Primavera.

The rossoblù, despite the initial disadvantage, took home three important points thanks to the 3-1 scored by Bolzan, Soldati and Vinciguerra .

The islanders' coach, Fabio Pisacane , was very satisfied and commented on his boys' performance as follows: «First of all, I'm happy for the boys because they can continue the work they're doing: they're finally reaping the rewards. Today was a game that had some pitfalls, but despite the disadvantage, the team had put on the field a good intensity and a good amount of play, we just lacked the final spark. I had the feeling that the team could achieve the best result if they had maintained the attitude that was then seen. It's true that the expulsion conditioned the game, but it's never easy to play against a team that goes ahead and then closes up: the boys instead were good, they had patience continuing to do what they had prepared, and in the end this rewarded us».

The rossoblù coach does not hide his enthusiasm, which remains focused on the next matches. Cagliari 's calendar now sees, one after the other, complicated matches against challenging opponents who should not be underestimated: "Now we face the matches that await us one at a time. The championship is difficult, every week we find high-level teams and there are no predictable matches, the team knows this well. The next matches against top-level opponents like Genoa, Lazio, Atalanta and Milan also have charm and it is almost easier and more stimulating to prepare for them. I am equally sure that the team will continue on the same path it is taking now: humility, sacrifice and teamwork".

So let's focus on the next match and see you next Saturday, 1pm, at Genoa 's home.
