Cagliari Primavera, great victory over reigning Italian champion Sassuolo

At the Virgilio Porcu, a great comeback victory for Cagliari 's Primavera , who beat the reigning Italian champions Sassuolo 3-1. Under the rain at Selargius, the rossoblù snatched three very important points for their run in the standings.
The match started off a bit slowly. In the 11th minute Bolzan had a golden double chance, but was blocked both times. The visitors responded in the 21st minute with Bruno , Iliev saved. A few minutes later Knezovic tried with a free kick, Iliev again averted the danger in two stages. In the 36th minute Knezovic was once again the protagonist, finding space for a nice shot from 25 meters and giving his team the lead. In the 42nd minute Vinciguerra tried to level the score, Scacchetti denied him the goal.
In the second half Cagliari immediately went on the attack and in the 53rd minute Vinciguerra crossed a ball for Bolzan who however failed to hit the target. In the 58th minute a carbon copy action with Vinciguerra and Bolzan again on top and this time the number 19 from the island scored behind the opposing goalkeeper, making it 1-1.
Twenty minutes from the end of the match, following a corner kick taken by Simonetta (who returned after an injury), Soldati found the second goal. Vinciguerra put an end to the match in the 78th minute, also served by Simonetta , freed himself from the marking and scored the 3-1. At the final whistle, Fabio Pisacane 's boys could celebrate the full haul, which currently sees them climb to twelfth place in the standings with 10 points.
