Iride Peis Concas is the winner of the "Donna Sarda 2023" award assigned by the municipal administration of Cagliari.

The award ceremony of the recognition, conceived by the Lions Club Cagliari Lioness and now in its 36th edition, was held on the occasion of Women's Day in the Council Chamber of the Palazzo Civico in via Roma.
In addition to the mayor Paolo Truzzu and Mrs. Iride Peis Concas, the President of the City Council, Edoardo Tocco, the President of the Lions Club Cagliari Lioness, Eralda Roscia Fenu, the Deputy Mayor of Guspini, the country of origin of the Francesca Tuveri and the Rector of the University of Cagliari, Francesco Mola.
With her publications inspired by the world of mining , Iride Peis Concas, who has dedicated her professional life to the role of primary school teacher, has given her reading to life in the mine.
