It will be the suggestive scenery of the park of the Basilica of San Saturnino in Cagliari to host the closing of the 24th edition of "Forma e Poesia nel Jazz", the Festival directed by Nicola Spiga which every year offers big names on the national and international scene together with new proposals and to the young talents of the island music scene.

To close with a flourish an extraordinary program, which started with the exceptional preview of Musica Nuda with guest Frida Bollani, three appointments in concatenated succession.

It opens at 6.30 pm with the solo of the pianist Guido Coraddu, engaged in a path in notes along the pieces of some of the most important Sardinian jazz players. The concert, with free admission, is included in the European Heritage Days and is preceded by a historical introduction to the basilica of San Saturnino by Alessandro Sitzia.

Following the final sets of the festival.

At 8 pm, the singer Daniela Pes and the pianist and composer Mario Ganau will propose their latest project "Between Moons" to the public, while an hour later one of the key guests of the festival will go on stage: the pianist Antonio Faraò, in trio with Mauro Battisti on double bass and Max Furian on drums.

All concerts will be held in compliance with the rules currently in force with spaced seats and compulsory free booking. Access is allowed only to green pass holders.
