Roma overwhelms Cagliari at the Domus, heavily defeated 4-1. Giallorossi overflowing and Ranieri's team remains anchored in last place with only 2 points.

Ranieri relaunches Obert in place of Dossena in defense and confirms Scuffet between the posts and Prati as director.
The rossoblù started well and, after 10', Petagna headed Rui Patricio. Then Roma comes out and, in the 19th minute, Aouar takes advantage of Cagliari's defensive sleep and scores the 1-0. Not even time to understand what had happened and Roma conceded an encore: Karsdorp runs to the right and puts it in the middle, where Lukaku supports it with his chest.

The Giallorosso dominate the pitch, but in the 38th minute Dybala stops after a clash with Prati, with the Argentine forced to leave room for Belotti, while Ranieri throws Luvumbo into the fray for Sulemana. There is room for a spat between the two coaches, with Sozza warning both Ranieri and Mourinho.

In the second half, Zappa is there for the not irresistible Hatzidiakos, but after 6' Roma closes the score, with Belotti who runs away on the edge of offside and strikes down Scuffet. Cagliari is no longer there and in the 14th minute the 4-0 arrives, with Paredes putting Lukaku all alone in front of the rossoblù goalkeeper, who has no escape for the fourth time.

Dossena and Pavoletti also come on and in the 27th minute a great goal by Prati is disallowed for offside. Game without history, but in the 41st minute the VAR calls Sozza back for a touch with Cristante's arm. It's a penalty and Nandez from the spot makes the knockout less difficult. Now the break and, at the restart, for Cagliari there will be the salvation match against Salernitana.
