Cagliari prepares for the away match on Saturday evening in Como, the first day of the championship. For the rossoblù the main objective is to forget the past season, which however still leaves behind.

Because at the "Sinigaglia" Cagliari will have to renounce Giorgio Altare, who has dragged the disqualification remedied after the warning received in Venice, in the last match of the last championship. The defender, who scored the rossoblù's first goal of the season against Perugia in the Coppa Italia, will therefore have to stay in the stands. Where there will also be Fabio Liverani.

In fact, even the coach will miss the first due to disqualification. A stop that dates back to two seasons ago, when Liverani, in the meantime already exonerated from Parma, was disqualified for one shift by the federal prosecutor. In fact, in the press release dated February 26, 2021, the current Cagliari coach was stopped "for having uttered blasphemous expressions several times" on the occasion of the Roma-Parma match on November 22, 2020. In his place on the bench there will be his deputy Cesare Bovo.
