Cagliari hosts “The New Era of Mindful Exhibitions”, an immersive journey into mindful art

A red carpet will guide visitors on a path that is not only expository, but also experiential. A deep breath before entering, then a gaze that gets lost among works that cross the border between figurative and abstract. The exhibition “The New Era of Mindful Exhibitions”, which will be held from March 29 to April 10 at the Municipality of Cagliari, was born with the intent of revolutionizing the way of enjoying art: visitors will be able to immerse themselves in an experience that involves body and mind, in search of a more conscious aesthetic.
Curated by Ileana Piga, founder of the Art Touch agency, and art critic Giorgio Gregorio Grasso, the exhibition introduces a new exhibition model, based on a sensorial and interactive approach .
Before entering, visitors will participate in a breathing session guided by yogin Silvia Dessì, a moment of reflection to refine the perception of art. The works will be accompanied by QR codes that, through an AI voice, will tell the stories behind each creation, while the exhibition path, with a transition from figurative to abstract, will invite the public to a journey into interiority.
The free event will be inaugurated with a press conference in the presence of the organizers and will offer a further opportunity for further study with the presentation of the cultural association “Sardegna CreAttiva”.
"The exhibition was born from the need to overcome the superficiality of fruition in artistic exhibitions. Starting from body awareness to reach a state that maximizes the aesthetic experience, so as to be able to draw the greatest profit on a physical and spiritual level", explains Piga.
The aim is not only to create an opportunity for comparison between artists of various origins, but also to create cultural bridges destined to last over time. "An opportunity to elevate Cagliari to an international stage thanks also to the inclusion of some artists from the prestigious Venice Biennale, one of the most renowned artistic events in the world", concludes the curator.
