Fourth defeat in a row for Cagliari, who at the Domus surrendered to Lazio, who returned home with a clear 3-1.

Ranieri confirms the three-man defence, but leaving Dossena on the bench and focusing on Zappa and Obert alongside Mina. In front, Lapadula alone with the support of Viola and Gaetano. Cagliari gets behind and leaves the initiative to Lazio, who comes close to scoring first with a carom from a corner saved by Scuffet and then with a running right-footed shot from Immobile and with the rossoblù goalkeeper still ready to save himself in the corner. The rossoblù keep the pace low, but around Provedel they can only be seen with a weak left foot.

At 26', the breakthrough: Isaksen's cross is smoothed by Azzi and Deiola, behind him he can't avoid the own goal. The goal does not shake Cagliari, who continue to control, to the delight of Lazio who continue with their possession of the ball. The first half thus ends with the guests ahead 1-0.

In the second half, Ranieri left Viola and the disastrous Azzi in the locker room, inserting Luvumbo and Dossena. Zito himself serves a golden ball to Nandez, who however puts it to the side.

And in the 4th minute Lazio doubled their lead: Scuffet saved from Isaksen's shot, Immobile recovered and scored his 200th goal in Serie A from the back line. But Gaetano, in the 6th minute, reopened it with a right-footed shot from the edge.
Cagliari launches the attack, an attempt by Makoumbou is thwarted by Provedel. Augello also comes on, but in the 20th minute, on the counterattack, Felipe Anderson makes it 3-1. Cagliari deflates, the guests come close to scoring a poker with Kamada, who hits the post.

It ends 3-1, complete with a final mini-brawl and the road to salvation becomes increasingly more complicated.
