Following the Primavera , Cagliari announced the first-team coaching staff for the 2026-2027 season, which officially began yesterday but which for the Rossoblu will see a training camp next week in Asseminello. His assistant will be Giacomo Murelli, as he was last year, while he reunites with Stefano Medda, who joined the Under-20 squad.

Matteo Battilana will serve as Performance Manager , coordinating the performance area and the integration of athletic preparation, data, prevention, and individual player development. Battilana has been with Pisacane since 2023, when they began their journey together in the Primavera.

Next up, the on-field technical assistants will be joined by Facundo Styk, an Argentine born in 1993, who will also handle match analysis alongside Filippo Gori, another newcomer. Athletic preparation will be coordinated by Mauro Baldus, with Michele Marro joining the team : he will work alongside Fabio Figus and Francesco Fois (the latter will oversee injury recovery). Luca Bucci will remain the goalkeeping coach, alongside Christian Berretta.
