Florinel Coman, Zito Luvumbo and Gabriele Zappa will be regularly among Davide Nicola's squad for Cagliari-Monza on Sunday, at 12:30. The official announcement will come only tomorrow, but this morning the three now ex-injured players trained with the group for the first time since their respective stops. During the week, they had partially done sessions with the rest of the team.
Luvumbo has been out since March 2, when in the second half of Bologna-Cagliari – just back from two months out due to an ankle injury – he suffered a low-grade strain to the biceps femoris of his right thigh . Five days later, on March 7 against Genoa, his replacement Coman stopped midway through the first half of his debut as a starter: inflammation of the Achilles tendon in his left foot . Then, on Wednesday 12 in training, Zappa also suffered a physical problem with a strain to the adductors of his left thigh . The break was used to put their respective injuries behind them.
Only Adam Obert remains out of action, after another muscle strain (low-grade), this time to the sartorius muscle in his left thigh . The Slovakian defender, who was injured with the national team eight days ago, will miss Cagliari-Monza and will try to recover for the away match in Empoli on April 6. Yerry Mina rejoined the team today , having returned to Sardinia after a long journey from Colombia (with an intercontinental stopover) . He only needs two training sessions, today and tomorrow, to be able to play against the Brianza team. But he is not in doubt.
Today at the Crai Sport Center in Assemini for Cagliari, technical activation work followed by tactical exercises, with game developments based on Monza and – at the end – a set piece session. Tomorrow morning training, then Davide Nicola's press conference at 12:15.
