Marco Palestra was fined €2,000 after being yellow-carded for simulation on Saturday in Cagliari's match against Como . The Sports Judge issued the order in his ruling for the twenty-eighth round of Serie A.

Palestra fell in the area in the 66th minute, after an attempted run , but referee Marinelli believed he was simulating and therefore booked him.

For the same reason, five minutes later, he showed Sebastiano Esposito a yellow card: a significant one, as the striker was already on a yellow card and will be out of action for Sunday's Pisa-Cagliari match (3:00 PM). However, in this case, the footage showed that it wasn't simulation, but rather a foul on the edge of the penalty area.

Bologna's Lewis Ferguson, Genoa's Patrizio Masini, Lecce's Giuseppe Pezzella, AC Milan's Adrien Rabiot, and Roma's Evan N'Dicka have also been suspended for the next round of Serie A.
