The balance sheet of Cagliari Calcio at 30 June 2024 closes with a loss of 3,627,815 euros. The announcement comes from the club, at the end of the shareholders' meeting held today to discuss the company's accounts.
A note reads that "in memory of the honorary president Gigi Riva, almost a year after his passing, and the more recent death of Pasquale Lavanga, on the board of directors of Cagliari Calcio since 2014, the outgoing Board of Directors was confirmed in the persons of: Tommaso Giulini, president; Fedele Usai, vice president; the directors Carlo Catte, Giangiacomo Ibba, Alessandro Manunta and Stefano Signorelli".
New assignment instead for Nicola Riva, son of Rombo di Tuono: 48 years old, already on the Board of Directors between 2019 and 2021, «he will give his important contribution to the promotion of the image and values of the club».
