Cagliari Beach Soccer, a victory and a defeat on the first day in Gaeta

The Cagliari Beach Soccer experience begins with a success and a KO in the Gaeta stage. The girls won Serie A 6-5 against Città di Milano, while the men's team lost 3-7 in the preliminary round of the Italian Cup against Terracina.

Victory on debut. After the international experience in the Euro Winners Cup, the championship begins with a success for the girls of Cagliari Beach Soccer. On the first day of Group B of Serie A, the rossoblù beat Città di Milano 6-5. Veronica Privitera opens in the 5th minute of the first half, but Villar equalizes in the quarter of injury time. In the 12-minute second half, the Lombardy team took the lead with a shot from midfield by Ponzini in the 7th minute, picked up immediately afterwards by a long-range shot by Taii. In the last minute before the second interruption, Milan was still ahead, with Natacchioni, but the third and final half smiled on Cagliari: Taii, assisted by Fabiana Vecchione, equalized in the 2nd minute; Vecchione himself scored the lead on a free kick in the 6th minute and two minutes later Giulia Olivieri extended the lead. Privitera scores a brace in the 11th minute and it is fundamental, because in the last minute Ponzini and Xaxo close the gap but without calling the result into question. Tomorrow I'll rest, on Saturday I'll be back on the pitch at 3.45pm with AEK Crotone.

Elimination. No final phase of the Italian Cup, however, for the men's team of Cagliari Beach Soccer. The boys led by Alejandra Argento (who also coaches the women) lose 3-7 against Terracina in the preliminary round. Show by Lucas Duarte, who scores the lead in the 4th minute: he himself doubles the lead shortly after from a free kick, makes a hat-trick at the start of the second half, signs the poker in the 4th minute and the five in the 5th minute from his attacking midfield. The third half of the game begins with Matteo Cosci who scores Cagliari's first goal, but Terracina extends again with a brace from Borelli in the 6th minute. The subsequent goals by Gabriele D'Onofrio and Michele Gemignani in the final minutes were useless. Tomorrow we repeat, again at 7pm and against Terracina but on the first day of the Poule Promozione.
