Cagliari Calcio is ready for the first official match of the season. This is the match on Monday 12 August against Carrarese at the Unipol Domus.

This afternoon the team was on the pitch in Assemini after the two-week training camp in Valle d'Aosta: we start with the weekly routine until May. After the Italian Cup there is immediately the championship opener against Roma (Sunday 18th at 8.45pm).

Carrarese has all the enthusiasm of a newly promoted team in Serie B. But Cagliari cannot afford to disappoint its fans. The club is trying to bring supporters to the stadium with popular prices. Curves at 5 euros, separate stands 10, blue grandstand 15, red grandstand 20. Reduced price for under 12s for all sectors: one euro.

Depending on the presence or absence of some players among those called up, indications on market activities will be possible. The most emblematic case is that of Lapadula, chased by Pisa. Negotiations are underway, but if an agreement is not reached, the Italian-Peruvian would be happy to stay. The parties, however, seem increasingly closer.

Outgoing are Veroli and Pereiro (perhaps both destination Bari), Jankto, Hatzidiakos, Delpupo (the transfer to Belgium is nearing completion). Di Pardo seems close to Modena.

On the signing front, Cagliari seems ready to throw itself on Cheddira in the event of farewell to Lapadula. While Gaetano's return moves away: Parma seems to have the advantage over Cagliari.
