Brazilian Ju Jitsu returns to Cagliari from 18th to 25th September. Over 700 athletes from 42 nations competed.
For the seventh year, the BJJ Summer Week , organized by the S'Animu association with the contribution of the Regional Tourism Department and the Municipality of Cagliari , will bring hundreds of athletes to the city, with companions and families. All the challenges will take place at the Palaboxe , in the building in via Rockefeller, in the Monte Mixi plant.
The event was presented by the organizers, Emanuele Frongia and Daniele Pisu , with the Regional Tourism Councilor, Gianni Chessa , and the Sports Councilor of the Municipality of Cagliari, Andrea Floris .
The event, once again, will be an important opportunity for the capital and the entire metropolitan area to really showcase themselves. Last year , in the midst of the restrictions for Covid-19, almost a thousand people arrived , including athletes, family members and organizers, for a turnover in the territory of about 800 thousand euros .
This year the goal is to exceed one million euros .
Among the news, there is the appointment with the XXI edition of Polaris, one of the most important Jiu jitsu and grappling tournaments in the world, scheduled for next September 24 in Cagliari, within the Summer Week.
