This season will be Bonorva's first in the Eccellenza division, after having secured promotion to the top division on May 24th by winning the Promozione playoffs in the final against Villacidrese . The red and whites are returning to the top regional league, a position they haven't seen since the 1970-71 season. However, the Eccellenza division didn't yet exist at the time (it was established starting in the 1991-92 season; before that, the tournament was called Promozione), so it's a true debut.

To do so, Michele Pulina's team is currently organizing itself, and the first reinforcements have just arrived. From Ossese, who won the last Eccellenza championship, come defenders Alessandro Balbo (an Argentine with an Italian passport, who also played in Serie D with Cos) and Marco Russu (born in 1995 and highly experienced with over 150 appearances between Serie C and D). Up front, Bonorva has landed two more key signings: Victory Igene , a Nigerian born in 1995 with a long career in Sardinia and just returning from a year at Usinese, and Bruno Lemiechevsky , who scored 13 goals last season with Tempio.

Michele Chelo, Alessandro Pusceddu, Samuele Pinna, Domenico Saba, Mattia Caddeo, Lautaro Jara, Federico Córdoba, Lucas Matassa, Pablo Gutiérrez, Angelo Silanos, Claudio Gallotta, Federico Sanna, Vittorio Spanu, Walter Vassallo, and Francesco Mannoni will not continue to play for Bonorva. The club thanks them "for the commitment, passion, and dedication you have shown while wearing our colors. Our sincerest thanks go to each of you for your contributions on and off the field. We wish you all the best for your future, both sporting and personal."
