Last days to visit the exhibition "Frida Kahlo, Viva la vita", set up in the spaces of the Ariston Cinema in Bitti. The exhibition will close to the public on July 9 and no extension is foreseen.
Since the ribbon cutting on April 8, many people have admired the multimedia exhibition dedicated to the extraordinary Mexican artist. Those arriving in Bitti can also visit the BittiRex paleontological park, with the new Bittinsecta pavilion dedicated to insects, the museum of pastoral and peasant civilization and the multimedia one of Canto a Tenor, the only one on the whole island. Formulas organized in a full day or in a weekend have also favored the discovery of the archaeological site of Romanzesu. The management of the entrances and the reception is entrusted to the Istelai di Bitti cooperative, which already takes care of the activities of the museum area and the Nuragic area of Romanzesu.
The exhibition, financed by the Sardinia Region, the Sardinia Foundation and the Municipality of Bitti, was curated by the art historian Emanuela Manca.
