Sardinians strangled by expensive bills and moreover victims of a hoax.

The costs of energy and gas are now unsustainable for companies and families, now abandoned out of the blue by their suppliers , increasingly forced to unilaterally terminate the contract due to too high costs.
There are many users who are receiving communications of this kind: “Dear customer, the current instability of the markets and the exponential increase in natural gas prices puts us in front of an unprecedented situation. Given the impossibility of guaranteeing your supply at economic conditions aligned with current market conditions, we are forced to terminate the supply contract in progress ".
The phenomenon was reported by Adiconsum. The users who are considered "at risk" are particularly affected by the notices of the operators, because they may be in arrears or late in paying their bills.
"The market has turned into a jungle with almost no rules in which many scammers are hiding", is the opinion of Giorgio Vargiu, president of Adiconsum. “The advice is therefore not to sign anything and not to answer the phone so as not to end up in the trap of unscrupulous dishonest companies ”.
Also in the field are the Competition Authority (Agcm) and the Energy Regulatory Authority (Arera) which have issued a joint vademecum to inform consumers against initiatives "that can be configured as unfair commercial practices or violations of sector regulation " .
