«At this moment our efforts are also strongly concentrated on strategic infrastructures, nerve centers for development, for attracting international skills and therefore for creating new opportunities and I believe that our country is predestined to welcome the Einstein Telescope , an extraordinary work capable to capture gravitational waves in an innovative way."

This was reiterated by the Minister for Research Anna Maria Bernini, on the occasion of the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the "Ettore Majorana" Foundation and Center for Scientific Culture and the 40th anniversary of the Erice Manifesto, which promotes science as a tool at the service of man .

«We are working – added Bernini – to explain to Europe and the world the reasons for our beliefs and that the best address for the Einstein Telescope is Sardinia, Barbagia, the Sos Enattos mine and Lula».
