"I would not speak of wild squares, but of a few thousand people in good faith and a few hundred rowdy and professional agitators. Some must be convinced and reassured, the others must be pursued with the utmost rigor. But we must keep in mind that we are talking about a small minority, the great majority of Italians do not go to the streets, they go to get vaccinated, if they have not already done so ".

This is what Forza Italia leader Silvio Berlusconi says, who, unlike his center-right allies, is in favor of the Green pass.

"It is the tool we have chosen to gradually restore normality. It can be perfected of course, but it works well. It is allowing our country to get back on the road and we all to return to a certain amount of sociality in safety", declares the former Prime Minister.

"I understand the concerns of workers and smaller companies - he continues -, but we must not forget that the only alternative is the vaccination obligation which, after all, we at Forza Italia have proposed since the beginning".

On street violence: “Fortunately, we are not in the 70s, but we must never let our guard down. Violence must always be isolated and fought with the utmost rigor ”.
