Beatrice Venezi, double appointment in Cagliari for the conductor
Expected in the city from 26 May to 4 June for Verdi's Traviata, it will then be the protagonist on 19 July at the SOI Fiorenza Cedolins competition

Double appointment in Cagliari with the conductor Beatrice Venezi , protagonist of the closing evening of the " First Virtual Opera Singing Competition SOI Scuola dell'Opera Italiana Fiorenza Cedolins ".
The appointment – now in its fourth edition – provides prizes for over € 80,000 and many contracts, offered by the numerous theater directors present in the Jury. For the participants also the opportunity to perform for 9 of the best opera agencies in the world and the collaboration with 25 theaters and orchestras. This year the event takes place in collaboration with the Teatro Lirico of Cagliari and will culminate in the Gala Concert of the winners , scheduled for Wednesday 19 July 2023 . The director will be on the podium leading the orchestra, choir – prepared by Giovanni Andreoli – and soloists. But, even before that, she is expected in Cagliari from 26 May to 4 June – in the theater in via S.Alenixedda – to direct Verdi's La Traviata , one of the most followed and loved melodramas in the world. In 2021 , again at the Lirico, Venezi led the Orchestra in a concert on the notes of Mozart and Beethoven .
About 90 of the most authoritative personalities of the sector are expected in the international jury of the Soi competition: Saverio Clemente (InArt Management), Fabiana Dalpiaz (Askonas Holt), Gianluca Macheda (GM Art and Music), Dominic Domingo (Askonas Holt), Marco Impallomeni (MC Domani), Elisa Patria (AMC Management), Christian Starinieri (DM Artist), Susanna Stefani Caetani (Only Stage), Inés Tartiere (Inés Tartiere Artists). Registrations are open until Saturday 18 February .
