The run of Techfind Selargius does not stop, which also passes to Basket Roma and collects its fourth consecutive victory in the Serie A2 Women's championship (72-57 final).

Leading the yellow and blacks was above all the French forward Eloise Pavrette, at times unstoppable in the paint with 18 points and the same number of rebounds. Captain Ceccarelli (18), El Habbab (10) and Granzotto (10 personal with 4 rebounds and 5 assists) also made a substantial contribution.

The race. On the wings of enthusiasm for the great success obtained on Tuesday against Empoli, the Selargines start in high gear and soon fly to +7 led by Ceccarelli (17-10). Roma, a team with a very low average age, finds the weapons to get back on top with a mini break of 5-0, but in the 10th minute San Salvatore is ahead by 6 points (23-17).

In the central phase of the match, Righi's quintet continues to command the operations, without managing, however, to extinguish the resistance of the stubborn Capitoline players, capable of coming back to -4 (41-37) at the start of the third period with Benini. Techfind, however, did not lose their composure: Pavrette and Ceccarelli pushed until they gave the +12, then a new moment of decline allowed Roma to regain confidence. To dampen the enthusiasm, then, Granzotto takes care of it, who at the third siren puts in the bomb from mid-court which brings his team back to double figures (56-46).

To definitively close the score, Righi relies on Pavrette's receptions near the basket. Roma tries to stem the excessive physical power of the Transalpine by resorting to zonal defence, but the Selargines react well, and with triples from Berrad and Mura they write the final word on the match.
