A state-of-the-art facility with a basketball court, gymnastics gym, weight room and soon also an indoor paddle court, the only one in town.
The Hangar Sport Center in Sassari, wanted by Antonello Pilia, is ready to host the first official match after almost a month of training for the first men's and women's teams, the youth sector and the mini-basketball. On Saturday at 6 pm Dinamo2000 takes the field against Alghero Basketball for the first day of the women's Serie B.
The women's project, wanted by the president of the company Giacomo Spissu and by the sports director Antonello Pilia, has chosen as coach one of the flags of Sassari and Sardinian basketball: Emanuele Rotondo, player for 16 years in Dinamo and then technician of minibasket and men's youth , who also led the Dinamo2000 men's first team getting a promotion and a final for the category jump (C silver).
The new coach said: “I wanted a new challenge and when it was proposed to me I didn't hesitate. I am very happy with the work done in recent weeks with the girls, then having a state-of-the-art facility like this is an added value ”.
The women's project was presented this morning in the new home of Dinamo2000 and Polisportiva Gans, in via Gioscari. Also present were the athletic trainer Pietro Sanna, the deputy coach Alessandro Anselmi and the owners of the Farfalla Beauty & Wellness Center, the company that has chosen to marry and support the project.
