Dinamo has made a remarkable move. The arrival of Canadian point guard Kaza Kajami-Keane , 32 years old and 188 cm tall, a 2024 Europa Cup winner with Chemnitz and last season in the Bundesliga with Lowen Braunschweig , where he averaged 14 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 5.6 assists, shooting 42% from two, 35% from three, and 78% from the free throw line. In short, he's a player who can make a difference in Serie A2 but would also be a good fit for Serie A.
Kajami-Keane's resume also includes a Dutch title in 2019 and three seasons in France at Le Mans. He also has several caps for the Canadian national team.
The point guard's move to the island was driven by the recommendations of two friends and former Dinamo players, Pierre and Bamforth, his respect and admiration for coach Luca Vitali, and his homesickness for Sardinia: "My grandfather was Italian and lived in Sardinia for many years! My mother also lived there from the time she was about one until she was three, before the family moved to Canada. We grew up listening to her stories about Sardinia and her desire to return. This summer, I came to see with my own eyes the places she had always told me about. It's a wonderful land, with a culture and people that have deeply impacted me."
