"The first person who called me was Gianmarco Pozzecco. Then Jack Devecchi, and then Pozzecco again, who said, 'You have to go to Sassari.'"

New coach Veljko Mrsic spoke in his first press conference about his arrival at Dinamo . He spoke confident Italian, occasionally peppered with a few easily understood Spanish terms (he coached Breogan).

Sporting director Mauro Sartori gave a brief introduction : "He's won so much and played at the highest level, so he needs no introduction. We called him to help us out of this difficult situation."

The Croatian coach also joked: "I watched the game against Cantù, and I'd say nothing needs to be changed. Jokes aside, this team is talented, but we need to work on improving several things."

Mrsic, who will make his debut on Sunday at the PalaTaliercio against Venezia, explained : «There's little time to work, but I'm all for simple concepts; we coaches shouldn't complicate basketball.»
