Paolo Banchero, Orlando Magic power forward, has decided to join the US national team in view of the World Cup in Asia which will be played between August 25 and September 10.

A choice that in some ways belies the previous intentions of the young champion, whose grandparents were Italian. From 2020 he could have worn blue, given that he had obtained a passport.

Now, with the American choice, the possibility of seeing him on the parquet with the Italian national team for Fiba competitions has vanished.
