Without point guard Jefferson and without three-point shooting (3/20) Dinamo loses what was a play-off in the race for the playoffs in Trento. It ends 87-76 for Dolomiti Energia who thus also overturns the -7 from the first leg and complicates Sassari's run-up to the championship play-offs.

The start of the Banco was too soft in defense and they ended up immediately behind and forced Markovic into the first time out: 11-2 in the 3rd minute with two triples from Mooney. The blue and white only score with Tyree managing many attacks. The Dinamo coach raises the quintet with Cappelletti (Jefferson leaves with an ankle injury and never returns) and McKinnie in place of Jefferson and Kruslin. The set-up improves the game and stops Trento's escape, but it is not enough to return. And in the final the hosts make transition and score again from the arc (6/11 against 0/4 for Sassari) and the quarter ends 28-15.

In the second quarter, Dinamo defended better and, despite some mix-ups, managed a 7-0 break that put them back in the running: 28-22 in the 13th minute with a triple from Charalampopoulos. But Grazulis is possessed (12 points) and without Jefferson, the Sassari team struggles, also because Gentile and Kruslin produce very little in attack: -13. The difference in the three-point shot is exemplary: 7/18 for Dolomiti Energia and 1/8 for Dinamo.

When they return, Banco's 7-0 is illusory, because their shooting percentages remain deficient and Trento takes the lead 54-40 in the 25th minute. Cappelletti fights but doesn't have much help from his teammates apart from Diop. And the difference in the three-point shot is mortifying: 11/24 for Trento, 1/12 for Sassari.

In the last half Dinamo attempted to recover but Charalampopoulos missed the triple for -6 and later Cappelletti missed the triple for -4. The hosts take off again.

Tyree was among the few to survive with 20 points and Cappelletti with 17.
