The Lombardy Region will appear before the Constitutional Court against the appeals on differentiated autonomy presented by Puglia and Sardinia .

President Attilio Fontana announced it: «Tomorrow – he explained to “Il Giorno” – the Council will vote on an ad opponendum constitution because it is a duty to support and defend our point of view and our rights ». Because «if the Council were to accept the appeals, Lombardy would suffer damage».

The appeals, continues the governor of Lombardy, were advanced "exclusively for political and instrumental reasons, the fight against autonomy is one of the few things that keep the centre-left together".

Fontana also responds to the criticism of the CEI, according to which solidarity is lacking: «The truth is that solidarity is lacking when a governor of the South refuses to take on the responsibility of administering in person . And in any case, with autonomy we can start from matters that do not require the definition of lep, that is, essential levels of performance».

For these matters, Fonatna explained, there could be the first turning point "within a year, at the beginning of October we will meet with Minister Calderoli to discuss the delegation of the matters".
