There is also the grandma's super gin alla pompia, together with Mojito-flavored cheese, panettone made with chocolate and 'nduja, the traditional Calabrian spicy salami and gin produced with seawater with cryopried pear, among the novelties on the tables of the post Covid shown by Coldiretti at Tuttofood, the event underway at the Fiera di Rho (Milan), to show first-hand the inventions destined to revolutionize the diet of Italians.
Sardinian sartorial gin was born from the collaboration between the young farmer, Ivano Fodde, 27 years old from Budoni, and the Cillario and Marazzi distillery. It is a unique gin that enhances sa pompia, the Sardinian citrus fruit among the rarest in the world, with a very fragrant rough and thick peel, destining it to a young target as well as gourmets, thanks to the use of its gin for gourmet recipes .
Louis gin ("the name is a tribute to my grandmother Luigina who made me love the countryside and know the aromas of Sardinia") last year won the regional green Oscar (young Coldiretti award reserved for farmers under 40 innovators ) and reach the national finals by comparing themselves with the best Italian proposals.
And always a gin has brought to the fore another young farmer, Frediano Mura di Sadali, regional delegate of Coldiretti Young Enterprise Sardinia. Also in this case it is a unique product of its kind that manages to cause small electric discharges in the palate of those who taste it.
Frediano too, with the Lampus gin won the 2019 regional green Oscar, and was selected for the national finals in Rome. Thanks to the success and visibility obtained by the Coldiretti Giovani award, he participated in the Sardinian stage of the Dinner Club traveling show with chef Carlo Cracco.
