It is a concert with a strong female connotation that tomorrow at 20.30 will be proposed at the Cathedral of Sassari. Three solo voices and an exceptional instrumentalist will enrich the 12th edition of the Christmas appointment offered by Banco di Sardegna (free admission) which will see Andrea Solinas conducting the orchestra of the Marialisa de Carolis concert body. The concert will be filmed by Videolina and broadcast on Christmas Eve.

The protagonists - The Cagliari soprano Ilaria Vanacore was the only Italian to reach the final at the "Vincenzo Bellini" international bel canto competition in Vendôme. The Carloforte mezzo-soprano Mara Gaudenzi recently sang in Cimarosa's Secret Marriage at the Teatro alla Scala and in Bergamo in Donizetti's Chiara and Serafina.

Two young players complete the game: the twenty-year-old soprano from Sassari Eleonora Marras and the enfant prodige Jasmine Ghera on trumpet, who graduated at just 16 (she is now 21), admitted a few months ago to the prestigious Royal Academy in London. In September Jasmine Ghera participated as solo trumpet in the Opening Concert of the 31st International Music Festival in Prague.

The program – Antonio Vivaldi's Gloria RV 589 for chorus and orchestra (strings, oboe, trumpet and continuo), the Adagio from the Concerto for trumpet, strings and continuo TWD 51:D7 by Georg Philipp Telemann will be performed, as well as pieces of the Christmas tradition orchestrated for the occasion by the composers Stefano Garau and Luca Sirigu.

The "Canepa", a glorious musical association, the oldest choral institution in Sardinia, will also participate in the evening.
