A sculpture by the Sardinian artist Pinuccio Sciola in homage to his creativity , to his personal research on stones for their intrinsic nature.

The work will be exhibited in the Antiquarium Turritano national archaeological museum in Porto Torres , an initiative of his daughter Maria Sciola on the occasion of the SoNos de Pedra conference in which the volume dedicated to the master of the art will be presented, entitled “ Pinuccio Sciola. The teacher, the master, the man ”, which will be illustrated on Friday 17 February, at 4 pm, with the contribution of the artist Cinzia Porcheddu, who will close her exhibition “ Liquid souls ” by the artist from Turrita.

A tribute to the artist that gives rise to a series of reflections on forms of love declined in a "less conventional" way in the week of Valentine's Day: Sciola's love for art, the love of his daughter Maria for her father, the devotion of contemporary sculptors to the Maestro, the love of Sardinia for one of his most famous sons.

The event is organized by the Sardinian regional directorate of museums and by the municipal administration of Porto Torres.
