According to the WHO, there are 217 million visually impaired and 36 million blind in the world (for a total of 253 million visually impaired). As many as 1.2 billion people need glasses and, among other things, myopia is on the rise worldwide. This is why it is important that everyone has access to ophthalmic assistance and adequate care, including improving their behavior.
