Arzachena celebrates the centenary of autonomy, and does so with a series of events that will culminate with the concert in the square by Fiorella Mannoia , scheduled for Saturday 21 May.

Unique date in Sardinia for the singer, who will perform at the Parco XVIII novembre, with free admission.

Accompanying Fiorella Mannoia on stage will be Diego Corradin on drums, Claudio Storniolo on piano and keyboards, Luca Visigalli on bass, Max Rosati and Alessandro "Doc" De Crescenzo on guitars and Carlo Di Francesco on percussion and musical direction of the show.

The calendar of celebrations for the first century of Arzachena's life as an autonomous administrative center from Tempio Pausania has already come to life with book presentations, historical reconstructions, festivals, exhibitions, the performance of the Sassari Brigade band and games dedicated to lads.

The events trace the history of Arzachena starting from May 14, 1922, when the first municipal council was established with Salvatore Ruzittu as mayor. Salvatore and his brother Michele are considered the fathers of the autonomy of Arzachena for the long, ten-year battle waged in support of the territory and the rights of its inhabitants, aware since then of the strategic importance that the town would have covered from a historical point of view -archaeological and touristic in Sardinia.
