A multidisciplinary approach to respond to the challenges of artificial intelligence, including opportunities, problems and pitfalls. The national conference is entitled "Artificial intelligence between art and law - Meetings dedicated to the legal and social aspects of the use of AI".

Organized by the Academy of Fine Arts of Sassari, three days of studies, debates and seminars will open tomorrow at 2.30 pm in the institution in via Duca degli Abruzzi, curated by teachers Gian Luca Beccari and Antonio Salamone to better understand the phenomenon that is overwhelming all social sectors.

The declared objective of the conference is the representation of the production and research capacity of the system of Higher Artistic and Musical Education (AFAM) and in particular of the Academies of Fine Arts, places of knowledge in which the dialogue between knowledge that is as different as it is complementary goes beyond the limes between technology and humanities, making the impact of a new form of technology such as generative artificial intelligence more significant than ever. The event was conceived with a strong multidisciplinary approach and aims to bring into dialogue a heterogeneous and significant panel of voices, experiences and research with specific references to aspects of law.

After the seminar on Wednesday afternoon reserved for students of the Academy and Conservatory of Sassari, the work will come alive on Thursday morning at 10 am, in the Aula Magna of the "Sironi" Academy, with the opening speeches of the president Giorgio Auneddu and the director Daniele Dore who will be followed by those of Davide Riboli, professor of Digital Applications at the Academy of Sassari, Antonio Felice Uricchio, president of the National Agency for University and Research Evaluation (ANVUR), Maestro Paolo Troncon, director of the Conservatory of Conegliano Veneto (TV) and member of the National Council for Higher Artistic and Musical Education (CNAM), and Fabio dell'Aversana, professor of Cultural Heritage Legislation at the Academy of Naples, president of SIEDAS and expert in studies of art and entertainment legislation.

On Friday we will talk about the collective imagination arising from scientific and science fiction literature with Stefano Giovanazzi, president of the Archive of Contemporary Art of Rovereto (TN). This will be followed by a speech by Marinella Cadoni, professor of Computer Science at the University of Sassari, and finally Michele Di Pasquale, eclectic artist/computer engineer active in the field of generative art and teacher of the scheduled seminars.
