A mural to celebrate the hundredth anniversary of the birth of the "Showman" Vittorio Gassman with reference to Monicelli's masterpiece "The Brancaleone Army". Other murals dedicated to the films “Banditi a Orgosolo” by Vittorio De Seta and “Il Muto di Gallura” by Matteo Fresi. In Martis the cinematographic images are not only those that flow on the big screen in Piazza Regina Elena.

The 5th edition of Cinemartist will be held from 25 to 28 August and will pay homage in the early evening to the dean of Sardinian directors, Antonello Grimaldi from Sassari, who directed the award-winning “Caso calmo” with Nanni Moretti and Alessandro Gassmann. For the festival, however, the gem " Asini " (1999) was chosen with Claudio Bisio, Fabio de Luigi and Giovanna Mezzogiorno plus another crowd of actors that the Sassari director directed with that skill already demonstrated in the ensemble film "But the sky is more and more blue ".

On 26 August space at “ Il Muto di Gallura ”, the first work by Matteo Fresi as a guest in Martis accompanied by the co-star Marco Bullitta. The next day we will talk again with Matteo Fresi and Antonello Grimaldi, at 10.30, for a directing masterclass organized not only for the film students involved in the festival, but open to all the curious and passionate. The evening will open instead with the documentary " Transhumances " presented by the director Andrea Mura and the director of photography Chiara Andrich.

The final evening, that of Sunday 28 August , will be dedicated to the teaching of cinema and the relationship with the territory seen as inspiration and set for the works of new generations of directors.

To underline the collaborations with the Academy of Fine Arts of Sassari and the University of Cagliari, to which this year the academy of the Capital Rome of University of Fine Arts is added thanks also to the fundamental support of the Sardegna Film Commission.
