The Good News by Fabrizio De André turns 52. And to pay homage to one of Faber's most beautiful and evocative works will be the voice of Antonella Ruggiero, Genoese like the singer-songwriter.

Two scheduled dates on the island: the first in Cagliari, Friday 29 April (9 pm), and the second the following day in Sassari. The double date was actually scheduled for March 2020, but was later postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Antonella Ruggiero will sing the entire opera of De André's La Buona Novella, accompanied by the choir Santa Cecilia and the musicians of the Ensemble Laborintus, both from Sassari. The male voice is that of Carlo Doneddu, the reciting one of Maria Antonietta Azzu, the arrangements by Gabriele Verdinelli, all directed by Matteo Taras.

The show will continue with the part dedicated to the great successes of Antonella Ruggiero, former voice of Matia Bazar, who will offer timeless songs such as "Roman Holiday", "You feel", "Stasera che sera" accompanied by one of the most virtuous Italian accordionists, Renzo Ruggieri. And still there will be the solo repertoire of the Genoese singer, among the best-known pieces "Amore distant".

To frame the evening two dancers-acrobats of international fame: Silvia Sarritzu, from Quartu Sant'Elena and Paolo Ladisa, from Rome. And again the choreographies created by Claudio and Paolo Ladisa who, among the many collaborations, also boast that with the Cirque du Soleil.

To embellish the concert, between the first and the second part, will be Beppe Dettori, one of the most beautiful voices in Sardinia, former soloist of Tazenda. Among his most important collaborations those with Vasco Rossi, Eros Ramazzotti, Ron, Francesco Renga, Gianluca Grignani, Enrico Ruggieri and many other national songwriters.

The appointment in Cagliari is scheduled at the Teatro del Conservatorio in via Ottone Baccaredda. In Sassari meeting point at the Municipal Theater, in viale Trieste.
