The two coaches of the promoted teams spoke about their triumph to "L'Informatore Sportivo"
Two of the three main verdicts between Eccellenza and Promozione are already reality: nine days ago Ilvamaddalena celebrated their return to Serie D, yesterday Monastir celebrated their return to the top regional championship. Only Promotion Group B is missing, where there are four of them fighting with Nuorese in the lead, +1 over second-placed Alghero. The two coaches of the promoted teams, Carlo Cotroneo and Marcello Angheleddu, talked about their triumph today during "L'Informatore Sportivo" on Radiolina, with Lorenzo Piras.

Among the many protagonists of the blue and white Mauro Ragatzu, who at 41 years old is top scorer with 32 goals (more than the number of matchdays and more than double the second in the scoring charts, i.e. his partner Alessio D'Agostino). «He has a hunger for goals which has now become a rare commodity, he manages to always keep this flame burning and he trains to the max, regretting even when he misses goals in training. This is the right mentality: it's no coincidence that he scored so much, it's a great pleasure to coach him." With Angheleddu also making an announcement: «The club has already expressed its desire to continue together and this gratifies me a lot. We rebuilt and restored balance, with the fortune of being able to bring my staff and a group of guys who were also strong on a mental level."
Rampant. Ilva was able to rejoice already on Easter Saturday, beating Bosa in Bonorva 0-6. The Maddalenini, having returned to Serie D where they played last season, have an iron defense: just 14 goals conceded. «The basis for the national championship is there», is the opinion of Cotroneo, who had already coached Castiadas in Sardinia in 2019-2020 and who has every intention of continuing with the same team. «The conditions are all there to stay, the company is evaluating but it was a winning and constructive year, where we agreed on many situations. There must always be a feeling between the club and the coach, otherwise the results don't come. I would be proud to continue another season in a higher category." Where Ilva wants to be ready. "The basis is there, but let's not forget that Serie D is another championship and the difficulties of some Sardinians are demonstrating this." In this regard, Cotroneo has a wish: «I hope that Olbia, of my friend Biagioni, manages to save itself in Serie C».
