The successful tour of "È inutile a dire!", the show by actor Jacopo Cullin, which has sold out theaters and arenas throughout Sardinia and some of the most important stages for national comedy (the Ambra Jovinelli in Rome, the Teatro Manzoni in Milan, the Teatro AncheCinema in Bari, and the Teatro Gioiello in Turin), is stopping in Alghero. Tomorrow, September 3rd, starting at 9:30 pm, the Cagliari-born actor and director will perform at Lo Quarter for a show organized by Shining Production and Roble Factory in collaboration with the Municipality of Alghero and the Alghero Foundation. The show closes the fourth edition of the Alghero Summer Festival and is part of the Spettacoli di Parole series. As always, Cullin will be joined by his actor, friend, and longtime supporter Gabriele Cossu, with music by a trio led by Matteo Gallus on violin, Riccardo Sanna on accordion, and Andrea Lai on double bass. "It's Useless to Say!" was born in the second half of 2018 from Cullin's pen, with the precise intention of exploring and exploring, with subtle irony and refined comedy, the relational dynamics that characterize our time. Through the poetic and witty visions of three of his iconic characters (Signor Tonino, Salvatore Pilloni, and Angioletto Biddi 'e Proccu), the author highlights the problems and fragilities of today's society, dominated by the precariousness of relationships and the constant existential crisis that pervades humanity.
