A story in poetry and music for Alda Merini , nicknamed "the poet of the Navigli". On Saturday in Alghero in Piazza Pino Piras, starting at 10pm, the Poetic Workshop of OttobreinPoesia offers the show “Find me at the Navigli. It's everywhere".

A poetic journey built through the voice and images that tell the story of the great Milanese poet and all the dimensions of her narration: irony, eroticism, sensuality, the asylum, the sacred, symbols, life. Not a simple celebration, nor a posthumous tribute to one of the greatest poets of the twentieth century, but an opportunity to share the passion for her poetry, the strength of her life, entering her most intimate world also thanks to listening to her recorded voice. In fact, the idea of this show was born thanks to the meeting that Leonardo Onida , creator and artistic director of the OttobreinPoesia festival, had in 2008 when he managed to meet the poet, at her home on the Navigli, to invite her to the second edition of the famous event dedicated to poetry, then still little known, which over the years has become the most important international poetry festival in Sardinia. It was a meeting full of surprises that made it possible to collect and preserve stories of life and poetry, walls with verses written in lipstick, photos of the poet and original audio that will be reproduced during the show with the recorded voice of the artist who speaks of beauty, smoke , madhouse, love.

The poetic reading will be accompanied by the original music by Simone Faedda on guitar and Giovanni Sanna Passino on trumpet with direction, lyrics and narrator entrusted to Leonardo Omar Onida.

The event is included in the calendar of appointments of the X festival "On the other side of the sea" .
