Alessandro Nesta is the new Reggiana coach: the Granata club has in fact reached an agreement with the world champion who will coach the team in the next Serie B championship.

The former Lazio and Milan defender has signed an annual contract until 30 June 2024, with automatic renewal for a further season upon reaching safety.

For Nesta, 46, this is the third experience as a coach in Serie B after those with Perugia and Frosinone, which culminated in the playoff final for Serie A.

After two seasons of stop, in the coming days the new coach will be welcomed in the city and presented to the media.
