Alessandra Mele , a Norwegian mother and an Italian father of Sardinian origins, is ready to fly to the Eurovision Song Contest .

The singer, known as "Alessandra", has in fact won the Melodi Grand Prix 2023 , the Norwegian equivalent of the Sanremo festival with the song "Queen of Kings".

Grown up in the province of Savona, Alessandra has been living in Norway for a couple of years and is studying music . In May, he will therefore represent the Scandinavian country in Liverpool on stage at Europe's most important music competition.

In an interview with Nrk, the Norwegian public service radio, the 20-year-old singer says that after winning she went home by train and still doesn't fully realize that in less than 100 days she will be going to Liverppol.

Alessandra also spoke of the many messages she receives from fans on Instagram and TikTok: «As soon as I have time I try to read them all and try to respond» said the novice artist, admitting that with the increase in fans it becomes increasingly difficult to respond « but I read everything and I really appreciate the affection they send me », he added.
